I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Georgia Southern University with a minor in International Studies. While at Georgia Southern, I participated in a 6 week summer study abroad program in Segovia Spain. 

I received my Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from The American College of Education. 



This will be my 23rd year teaching. I have taught in many different places and a variety of grade levels. 

Toombs County High School - Student Teaching

Telfair County Primary School - 1st grade Spanish teacher for one year

Awtrey Middle School, Cobb County - 7th grade Spanish teacher  for 4 years

Dalton Middle School - 7th grade Spanish teacher for 3 years

Lakeview Middle School - 6th, 7th and 8th grade Spanish teacher for 5 years and 7th grade Social Studies teacher for 1 year

Heritage High School  - This will be my 9th year as a Spanish teacher at HHS


I am originally from Marietta, Georgia. I graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1990. I moved to the Chattanooga area in 1999 and now consider Ringgold home. I have been married for 18 years to my husband, Jason, who I've known since we were in the 9th grade together. We have two children. Clint is 15 years old and is in the 9th grade at HHS. Julia is 9 years old and is in 3rd grade at RES.
