WELCOME TO HERITAGE HIGH SCHOOL

HHS was named the "Best School" in 2020 by the Times Free Press in "Best of the Best North Georgia" and boasts the 9th ranked overall Athletic Program in the GHSA Director's Cup Standings.  Heritage was recognized as one of the the Nation's Best High Schools by US News & World Report and as a 2019 Advanced Placement Honor School by the Georgia Department of Education.  Heritage received the Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award from the Georgia High School Association.  The Georgia Music Educators Association has awarded the Exemplary Performance Award to HHS three times.

Important Spring Semester Information

  • HHS will operate on the hybrid schedule through the end of February 2021.  Students will attend classes in person 2 days a week and will also have assignments to complete at home through Google Classroom.
  • On February 18th Cohort A students will meet in person.
  • On February 19th Cohort B students will meet in person.
  • Cohort A (students last name beginning A-J) will meet in person on Mondays & Tuesdays
  • Cohort B (students last name beginning K-Z) will meet in person on Thursdays & Fridays.

Wednesday Tutoring Sessions

While we are on the hybrid schedule, tutoring sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 8:30 to 11:30 am. Bus transportation is available and free meals will be served.

MAP Assessment

Students will take the 2nd MAP benchmark test in January. The bell schedule will be modified on January 19 (Cohort A) and 21 (Cohort B) for the MAP assessment.
