By any measure, Heritage High is an outstanding public school in the state of Georgia.  Student learning is our primary purpose, and our students have demonstrated their success in several ways.

U.S. News and World Report on Best High Schools

College Entrance Exams:

On the ACT, Heritage seniors scored an average of 21.6 for the 2018-19 school year.  That average score is above the state and national average.

On the SAT, Heritage seniors scored an average of 1166 on the 2018-19 school year.  That average score is above the state and national average.

State Measures:
HHS scored above average on the Georgia's College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI).

Heritage High received a "B" rating from the Governor's Office of Student Achievement on the Georgia School Grades Report.

Value:
Although student performance is above average, spending per pupil is below average.  The per pupil expenditure at Heritage High for fiscal year 2018 was $9,212.  Georgia spends an average of $10,205 per pupil.  Nationwide, per pupil expenditures are $12,201.
